The Chester Bulkley House, located on Main Street in Wethersfield, Conn., is within a few blocks of quaint shops, restaurants, museums, historic homes, the Connecticut River, Standish Park and Wethersfield Cove. Dinosaur State Park is four miles away and the historical residences of Mark Twain and Harriet Beecher Stowe are less than five miles away. Also nearby are the Wethersfield Nature Center and Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art.
Hotel Features. Surrounded by the colonial environs of the village of Old Wethersfield, the Chester Bulkley House is a Greek Revival piece of history. Built in the nineteenth century, this house still retains most of the adornments from it's original state, including wide pine board floors, hand carved woodwork, working fireplaces and period pieces.
