The Living Spring Farm Bed and Breakfast is located in Mohnton, Penn., one quarter mile from Route 222. Adamstown, Penn., offers an eclectic assortment of antique shops one mile from the bed and breakfast. The Hawk Valley Golf Club is less than five miles away.
Built in 1790, this Colonial style, stone farmhouse is nestled on 23 acres. The home features a screened in veranda with sitting areas looking out to the forested hills surrounding the property. Complimentary full breakfasts are served each morning in the dining room or on the veranda, featuring Amish granola, homemade blueberry muffins and pancakes. Complimentary beverages and snacks are available 24 hours a day. Deer are often seen on site. Concierge service is offered, including arrangements for dinners with Amish families. A portion of the Horseshoe Trail runs through the property, offering hiking and horseback riding. Accommodations for horses are available. Pets are not allowed at the property.
The Living Spring Farm Bed and Breakfast offers four guestrooms equipped with cable television. All units feature private bathrooms with bathrobes. Select bathrooms offer claw foot tubs and bath salts. Rooms are individually decorated and include separate sitting areas. Views of the surrounding woods and stream are available in select accommodations.
